A holiday tradition

Christmas is better by train.

Celebrate the 20th annual Toy Train Christmas at the Northern Pacific Railway Museum.

The historic 1911 depot comes alive with the sights and sounds of Christmas, featuring more than 40 model and toy train layouts, from Z scale to large operating displays. Enjoy holiday decorations, crafts, and activities for the whole family.

Take a ride to the North Pole and visit Santa, then warm up with hot chocolate and cookies as you explore the depot. Throughout the event, you’ll also find selfie stations and festive photo spots, perfect places to capture a holiday memory. And yes, Santa will be ready for pictures, too!

Whether you're continuing a family tradition or discovering Toy Train Christmas for the first time, come enjoy a holiday celebration surrounded by trains, history, and Christmas memories.
