Stop by and give a hand with the many projects at the museum. New volunteers
will be guided through various projects each work day. A barbeque and picnic
will be held at the depot along with an evening lecture co-sponsored by the
Northern Pacific Railway Historical Association.
For those that want to come early and stay late we get together
Friday evening and have further work in progress on Sunday. Limited

13th Annual Railroad Show: Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25, 2012 The annual event
is planned for the 4th weekend in August each year. The
museum shows the following:

5th Annual Haunted Train
and Depot: Saturday-Sunday October 27-28, and Tuesday-Wednesday
October 30-31, 2012
For a really scary Halloween experience, join us at the museum for the 4th annual
Haunted Train/Haunted Depot event. The event will be open from 7 PM – 11 PM on
Saturday night, to 10
PM on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It will feature ghosts,
goblins, and a fright at every corner as you tour the haunted depot and 2
haunted railroad cars. Admission is $5 per person. Ages 13 and older please.
Join us for this unique event in a unique setting at the Northern Pacific
Railway Museum.
For families with younger children, we will be offering our
Annual Pumpkin
Run at the museum on Saturday, October 27, 10-4 PM. This event features a
caboose ride, pump car rides, museum tours, and a free pumpkin for each child.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
9th Annual Toy Train Christmas
at the Northern
Pacific Railway Museum: Saturdays November 24, December 1, 8 & 15;
Sundays, December 2, 9 & 16, 2012 10:00-4:00 PM. Take a short train ride
in the caboose to see Santa Claus. In 2010 there were 35 operating toy trains around decorated
Christmas trees. Hot chocolate and cookies were offered to everyone. Photographs with Santa Claus will
be printed on site for extra charge. Adults $6.00, Children $4.00.
Caboose Birthday Parties: Individually scheduled--$100
minimum. Call Mary at (509) 877-3894 to schedule.
Locomotive Engineer Experience: $100 by reservation, call
